Cazenovia, NY - Moving themselves to 7-3 overall and 2-3 in NEAC play, the Wildcats Men's Lacrosse team cruised to 17-6 victory over Wells College. The Wildcats have won their last three contests heading into the final two games of the regular season.
The Wildcats dominated the entire game, holding Wells to only six goals. Alex Milliken led the Express with 4 goals and an assist. Cazenovia showed how hungry they are for a playoff berth, never lowering their intensity level and displaying great teamwork on the field.
Senior captain Wes Lawrence had his best game of the season, leading the Wildcats with 4 goals followed by teammates Kyle Kingsley with 3 goals and 2 assists. Brandon Maxson (5 Assists) and Joe Delia (4 Assists) got their teammates involved early and often while adding two goals apiece. Ben Wilson picked up a pair of goals and both Keenan Mahoney and Josh McRae contributed to the Wildcat's scoring with a goal of their own.
Zach House recorded 10 Cazenovia's 53 ground balls showing tremendous effort and hustle on the field. Senior goalie Pat Boyle saved 6 of 12 shots on goal and back-up Rameen Nazir saved 3 of 3 shots in 10 minutes of action.
The Wildcats look to move up in the standings and in to playoff contention as they travel to compete against Hilbert on Wednesday, April 23 at 4 PM.
