Strong Second Half Not Enough For Wildcats

Cazenovia, N.Y. - Despite a strong second in the second half, the Cazenovia College women's lacrosse team lost to King's College by the final score of 21-11. The loss drops the Wildcats to 1-1 on the young season while King's improves to 3-4.

Cazenovia found itself in a 13-4 whole at the half, but were narrowly outscored 8-7 in the second stanza due to the strong play of Alicia Priest (Camillus, N.Y.) and Kim Vrigian (Lake Clifton, N.Y.) with four goals each.

Abby Webster (Syracuse, N.Y.) also tallied two goals, while Jessica Cramer (Johnson City, N.Y.) added another score for the Wildcats.

Cazenovia is right back at it on Sunday hosting SUNY Canton with a 1:00pm start.
