Women's Lacrosse Hosts Hartwick

CAZENOVIA, NY – It took a while for the Hartwick-Cazenovia women's lacrosse to game to actually be played, but in the end the Hawks would come away with an 18-11 victory over the Wildcats Sunday evening. The victory is Hartwick's second straight and it improves to 3-3 on the campaign, while the Wildcats drop to 1-3 on the season
The game, originally scheduled for Wednesday, was wiped out due to a winter storm which hit the central New York area and rescheduled for Sunday.

Alicia Priest (Camillus, N.Y.) scored a team-high five goals on the day, while Kim Vrigian (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and Abby Webster (Syracuse, N.Y.) each scored a pair of goals for Cazenovia. Priest and Christina Marra (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) each had four ground balls. Marra also made 10 saves in the Wildcat cage.

The Wildcats travel to Houghton on Thursday for their next contest. Game time is slated for 3:00 pm.
