Wildcats Drop Season Finale

Cazenovia, N.Y. - The Cazenovia College men's lacrosse team ended their 2013 season with a hard fought 25-10 loss to Keuka College. The Wildcats finish the season 4-8 with a 2-5 record in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. The Storm remain undefeated in NEAC play with a 7-0 record while posting a 10-1 record overall.

Senior Taylor Hastrich (Horseheads, N.Y.) led the Wildcats offensive effort with three goals, while fellow co-captain Cory Tilton (Central Square, N.Y.) ended his memorable career at Cazenovia with two goals, three assists, and five ground balls.

Tim Mellon (Temple, NH) and Vincent Halsey (Oneida, N.Y.) each tallied two goals for the Wildcats.

The biggest boost to the Wildcat effort was the inspirational play of Matt Carson (Startford, Conn.). When things looked out of reach for Cazenovia, Carson won five faceoffs to spark the Wildcats in a fight to the end. His effort was a perfect example of what Wildcat pride is all about.
