Women's Lacrosse Earns ECAC Bid
WESTMINSTER, Md. – After another successful regular season the Cazenovia College women's lacrosse team has been selected to compete in post-season play. McDaniel will host a 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region women's lacrosse championship tournament first-round game on Wednesday at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium in Westminster, Md.
The second-seeded Green Terror (9-8) will take on seventh-seeded Cazenovia (9-8) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The winner of that game will face the winner of another first-round game between No. 3 seed Morrisville State (9-7) and No. 6 Medaille (11-4) on Saturday. No. 4 Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham (12-7) and No. 5 Neumann (14-5) play in the final first-round game on Wednesday and will take on top-seeded Lebanon Valley (11-5) in Saturday's other semifinal.
With Lebanon Valley unable to host, both semifinals and Sunday's championship game will take place at the highest remaining seed. McDaniel, as the No. 2 seed, would host the three games with a victory at game times yet to be determined.
